NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has downplayed any suggestion that, given the heavy losses the Liberal party suffered federally last Saturday, his government could face a huge swing against it at the next state election in March. Instead, Mr Perrottet hopes that the new Labor government in Canberra will help him revive his plan to abolish stamp duty.
