प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने मंगलवर को क्वॉड देशों के शिखर सम्मेलन को संबोधित किय़ा। इस दौरान उन्होंने क्वाड की अहमियत का ज़िक्र करते हुए, कई बड़े और वैश्विक मुद्दो का भी ज़िक्र किया। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कहा, कि टोक्यो में आयोजित क्वाड शिखर सम्मेलन में सदस्य मित्र देशों के बीच होना सौभाग्य की बात है। उन्होंने कहा, कि क्वॉड ने बहुत कम समय में ही अपनी अहम वैश्विक जगह बना ली है। साथ ही उन्होंने हिन्द-प्रशांत क्षेत्र में भी क्वाड का अच्छा प्रभाव नज़र आ रहा है, साथ ही ये इस रीजन में भी बेहतर काम कर रहा है।
