Mattel has launched a new line of inclusive Barbie dolls including the first-ever Barbie with hearing aids and a Ken with the skin condition vitiligo. Lisa McKnight, EVP and global head of Barbie and dolls at Mattel, joined Cheddar News to talk about the importance of the inclusion of figures that represent people with disabilities. “It's important for kids to see themselves in our product line, and we want to strike conversations," she said.
