Delhi University professor arrested over Gynavapi Mosque post gets bail

A Delhi court has granted bail to a Delhi University professor who was arrested over a social media post on Gyanvapi Mosque. The professor can walk out on bail after furnishing bond of Rs 50,000. According to the police, the professor Ratan Lal made derogatory comments about a ‘shivling’ found inside Varanasi’s Gyanvapi mosque complex. He was produced before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Siddhartha Malik at Tis Hazari court on Saturday. Watch the full report here.
