Indigenous leaders ask Charles for royal apology in Canada

Prince Charles has been as asked by Indigenous leaders in Canada for the Queen to apologise on over a scandal involving the Anglican Church. Tens of thousands of children were taken from their families and placed in residential church schools between the late 1800s and the 1970s.
Roseanne Archibald, National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations, met with the Prince of Wales on Wednesday where she "respectfully requested" that he relay the message to his mother.
