Police raids in Wigan

Troops of police officers were deployed around the town in the early hours as they swarmed on the homes of suspected organised crime gang members, barged through their front doors and made several arrests.
A man was taken away in handcuffs from a modern semi-detached house, with a white Range Rover on the drive, on Warminster Grove just after 6am after around 15 police officers in vests and helmets surrounded the property.
