Taking an important decision on Wednesday, the Supreme Court has ordered the release of convict AG Perarivalan, who is serving a sentence in the assassination case of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. Perarivalan has been in jail for more than 30 years.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बुधवार को एक अहम फैसला लेते हुए पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री राजीव गांधी की हत्या मामले में सजा काट रहे दोषी एजी पेरारीवलन को रिहा करने का आदेश दिया है। पेरारिवलन 30 साल से ज्यादा वक्त से जेल में बंद है।
