While speaking about the Gyanvapi mosque survey claim, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi on May 16 said that it is a fountain that has been discovered in the survey, and not a ‘Shivling’ and every Mosque has a fountain. “It's a fountain, not a 'Shivling'. Every masjid has this fountain. Why the claim was not raised by the commissioner of the Court? The order of sealing the spot is a violation of the 1991 Act,” the AIMIM president said.
