Two towers in Doha, Qatar, were lit up in tribute to Shireen Abu Akleh, a Palestinian American journalist who was shot & killed during a raid by Israeli forces on a West Bank refugee settlement on May 11.

Qatar is the home of Abu Akleh's employer, Al Jazeera. The company, the Palestinian government, and eye witnesses have all blamed Israeli forces for Abu Akleh's death.
