Home Minister Hamzah Zainudin said the police will shortly announce the results of an investigation into police outriders escorting the son of Baling MP Abdul Azeez Rahim as shown in a viral video clip.

Hamzah said action will be taken against any police officers involved if misconduct is discovered in the probe.

“We will not allow anyone who is not on the list (of those eligible for police escort) to get such facilities, it needs to be approved by the inspector-general of police himself."
