U2's Bono Performs In Kyiv Inside A Metro Station As Russia Continues Bombardment Across Ukraine

On May 8, Bono, Irish rock star, praised Ukraine's fight for freedom during a performance in a metro station in downtown Kyiv, reported AFP. During his performance, the U2 singer also issued his own prayer for peace, reported AFP. The 61-year-old star performed at a platform of a Kyiv metro station. The surprise performance by Bono came even as air raid sirens echoed in Kyiv. Bono also called upon a Ukrainian soldier to sing along with him.
