For nearly six decades since Kenya's Independence, residents of Muumoni Ward in Mwingi North have remained without land rights due to lack of title deeds. But the locals are a happy and relieved lot after the Lands Ministry issued them with the crucial documents in conjunction with the Kitui county government.
