WA State budget set to address emergency department overcrowding and ambulance ramping

Next week's state budget looks set to focus heavily on health as the government struggles to deal with crowded hospital emergency departments and continuing problems with ambulance ramping. With ambulances spending mroe than five-thousand hours ramped last month the government hopes a quarter-of-a-billion dollars reform package and reduced pressure from COVID-19 will start to turn things around.
