For the past 22 years, Mountain View Funeral Home has hosted a Memorial Day event to honor those that served. It is a beautiful program that normally has around 600 people in attendance. This year is going tp be phenomenal with a “surprise landing with a vet”,” and in past years they have had a flyover. There will be a band to entertain the crowd before the service begins. Five years ago, they started their Annual Toiletry Drive for homeless Vets and donations of travel size items would be greatly appreciated. They will be taking donations until May 30, 2022.
