Amidst the ongoing loudspeaker controversy in many states across the country, action has been taken on a large scale in Uttar Pradesh. After the order of the High Court in UP, 6031 loudspeakers have been taken down so far. Apart from this, the sound of loudspeakers has been reduced at 29674 religious places. At the same time, 433 loudspeakers were removed in old Lucknow. This includes temples, mosques and gurudwaras. Watch this video.
