There has been a lot of uproar in Maharashtra over Azan and Hanuman Chalisa and now Shiv Sena has targeted the Modi government regarding this. Shiv Sena has written in its mouthpiece Saamana – The ruckus started by the Bharatiya Janata Party in the name of Hindutva cannot be supported. Hindutva does not mean creating ruckus at all, but it is a rite and culture. Shiv Sena launched a scathing attack on the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa in front of the house of Shiv Sena President and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

महाराष्ट्र (Maharashtra) में अजान और हनुमान चालीसा (Hanuman Chalisa) पर जमकर हंगामा मचा है और अब इसी को लेकर शिवसेना (Shivsena) ने मोदी सरकार को निशाने पर लिया है. शिवसेना ने अपने मुखपत्र सामना (Saamna) में लिखा है - भारतीय जनता पार्टी (BJP) ने हिंदुत्व के नाम पर जो हंगामा शुरू किया है, उसका समर्थन नहीं किया जा सकता। हिंदुत्व का अर्थ कतई हंगामा करना नहीं होता है, बल्कि ये एक संस्कार और संस्कृति है। शिवसेना अध्यक्ष और महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे के घर के सामने हनुमान चालीसा के पाठ को लेकर शिवसेना ने तीखा हमला बोला।
