After EV Scooter fires, Nitin Gadkari says government will take action

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday took to Twitter express anguish over several mishaps involving electric two-wheelers in recent times. He added that the government will issue necessary orders on defaulting companies after receiving the report of an expert panel that has been constituted to enquire into these incidents. In the last few weeks, over a dozen electric scooters have caught fire including those manufactured by Ola Electric, Pure EV, and Jitendra EV, aside from Okinawa.
