Punjab: Goods trains derailed, no casualties reported

Sixteen coaches of a goods train derailed after the driver applied a sudden brake on April 18. The driver applied a break to prevent a herd of cattle came on the railway track in Rupnagar, Punjab on April 17. The train was coming from Ropar Thermal Plant and was heading towards Ambala. Few express and passenger trains have been cancelled.
