Tesla CEO Elon Musk has launched a hostile attempt to buy Twitter for $43 billion. Musk has offered to acquire all of Twitter’s remaining common stock at $54.20 per share in a “non-binding proposal.”
Musk, a self-described free speech absolutist, has said Twitter needs to be transformed into a private company for it to become a platform for free speech.
