Shivpal Singh Yadav has advocated Uniform Civil Code. As per to media reports, Shivpal Singh Yadav was addressing a seminar on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti and the death anniversary of Rahul Sankrityayan. During this, he mentioned that both Ambedkar and Lohia had advocated socialism. He also advocated for Uniform Civil Code in the Constituent Assembly.

शिवपाल सिंह यादव ने समान नागरिक संहिता की वकालत की है. मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक शिवपाल सिंह यादव ने अंबेडकर जयंती और राहुल सांकृत्यायन की पुण्यतिथि के मौके पर सेमिनार को संबोधित कर रहे थे. इसी दौरान उन्होंने जिक्र किया कि अंबेडकर और लोहिया दोनों ने समाजवाद की वकालत की थी. उन्होंने संविधान सभा में समान नागरिक संहिता की पैरवी भी की थी.
