The United Kingdom is taking bolder steps to strengthen its relationship with partner countries.
Last year, it entered into a dialogue partnership with the association of Southeast Asian Nations or ASEAN.
This, in a bid to build closer cooperation on several issues including trade, investment, education, and the environment.
