Eggs provide vitamin D, which helps bones absorb and retain calcium.
2. Milk and
plant-based
dairy alternatives.
Dairy products are loaded with vitamin D and calcium. When selecting a dairy alternative, look for those that are fortified with calcium and vitamin D.
3. Greek yogurt.
Greek yogurt that is fortified with vitamin D also contains magnesium and phosphorus, which are important nutrients for bones.
4. Mushrooms.
Try combining mushrooms with your eggs in the morning for an extra boost of vitamin D.
5. Fortified orange juice.
Some brands of orange juice provide 10% of daily vitamin D and 25% of daily calcium requirements
