Forest scientists are calling on WA's Environment Minister to reconsider plans to set fire to an ancient Tingle forest on the state's South Coast. The Parks and Wildlife Service say it's necessary to protect nearby communities from wildfires but botanists argue the 400-year-old trees should be protected from large scale prescribed burns.
