January is National Blood Donor Month, and Krispy Kreme is doing its part by offering a dozen free glazed doughnuts to anyone who donates blood between now and the end of January. According to the American Red Cross, the U.S. is facing one of its worst blood shortages in history, as fewer people have donated blood due to the pandemic.
