NASA astronaut Mark Vande Hei landed safely back on Earth on March 30 after setting the U.S. astronaut record for the most consecutive days in space. Vande Hei, who was picked up in rural Kazakhstan, spent 355 days is space, breaking astronaut Scott Kelly's U.S. record by more than 2 weeks.
