Covid-19: Maharashtra Govt Announces Withdrawal Of Pandemic Measures, Effective April 2

On March 31, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s office announced that the state is all ready to bid goodbye to all the Covid-19 pandemic related restrictions. All the Covid-19 related curbs will be lifted from April 2. Gudi Padwa, Marathi New Year, will be celebrated on April 2. The state government said that the use of masks will be advised, but it will not be mandatory. Covid-19 cases in the state have dropped. Covid-19 numbers in India have also dropped.
