An Unexpected Combination of Indonesian and Australian Cuisine

Chef Chandra Yudasswara and chef Sean Macdougall, the Executive Chef of Ritz Carlton Pacific Jakarta, cook Indonesian and Australian fusion dishes in the intimate dinner "Chef Take Over," Monday, March 21, 2022.

Quoting Antara, Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Penny Williams said the dish was interesting because it combines Australian meat with Indonesian ingredients.

Both Chandra and Sean process Australian beef by incorporating Indonesian elements, such as spices to complementary ingredients.

The beef used was not a popular cut such as rib-eye, tenderloin, and sirloin. See more in the video.
