Sheila Parker MBE, captain of the England women's football team in their first international game in 1972, with a plaque, placed near the entrance of Chorley FC. Celebrating 100 days until the women's Euro tournament and the 50th anniversary since England played their first match in November 1972 against Scotland, the plaque is part of the "Where Greatness is Made" campaign, in the build up to Women's Euro 2022, ten plaques will be placed across England.
