P&O Ferries CEO admits job cuts broke the law

P&O Ferries boss Peter Hebblethwaite has admitted to MPs that the decision to sack 800 workers without consulting unions broke the law. Giving evidence to a select committee in parliament, Hebblethwaite said "I completely throw our hands up, my hands up, that we did choose not to consult". Report by Lewisl.
