The footage, captured on Chelsi Paulson's home security camera, shows her husband using his smartphone while babysitting his kid, who keeps moving closer to the edge of the ottoman.
And just when the youngling is about to fall off the seat, the dad jumps in to save the day. Proud of his heroic feat, the subject gives thumbs up to the camera.
"My husband texted me to look at the camera and this video is what I saw, lol," Chelsi said.
