India abstained from voting in the United Nations Security Council on the draft resolution by Russia on the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. Russia had called for a vote in the UN Security Council on its own humanitarian resolution. Notably, this resolution was widely criticised as it did not mention about its invasion of Ukraine.

रूस और यूक्रेन (Russia-ukraine war) के बीच युद्ध को अब 28 दिन बीत चुके हैं। रूसी सेना लगातार यूक्रेन के कई शहरों पर हमले कर रही है। दोनों देशों में कोई भी झुकने के लिए तैयार नहीं है। यूएन सिक्योरिटी काउंसिल (UNSC) में भारत (India) ने यूक्रेन में मानवीय संकट पर रूस के प्रस्ताव पर वोटिंग से दूरी बना ली. भारत ने पश्चिमी देशों का साथ देते हुए रूस के इस प्रस्ताव पर वोट नहीं किया।
