From BJP Worker to Uttarakhand CM For Second Time: Pushkar Singh Dhami’s Journey

Pushkar Singh Dhami was sworn in as Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, for the second time in eight months, at a grand ceremony in Dehradun in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Dhami is an advocate by profession and was an MLA from the Khatima constituency of Udham Singh Nagar district for the previous two terms. However, he lost his own seat to Congress party candidate Bhuwan Chandra Kapri in the recently concluded 2022 Assembly polls.
