Forty-six days after the Yang Di Pertuan Agong acquiesced to Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s request to declare a State of Emergency and Parliament was suspended, His Majesty on Wednesday issued a clarification that the House can, in fact, convene. The decision on a date for this has yet to be announced, but Parliament was initially scheduled to sit from March 8th to April 8th, before the State of Emergency was announced last month. What can we expect to happen next?
