waqt-e-ghurub aaj karamat ho gai
zulfon ko us ne khol diya raat ho gai

kal tak to us mein aisi karamat na thi koi
wo aankh aaj qibla-e-hajat ho gai

ai soz-e-ishq tu ne mujhe kya bana diya
meri har ek sans munajat ho gai

ahl-e-watan se dur judai mein yar ki
sabr aa gaya 'firaq' karamat ho gai

Urdu;
وقت غروب آج کرامات ہو گئی
زلفوں کو اس نے کھول دیا رات ہو گئی

کل تک تو اس میں ایسی کرامت نہ تھی کوئی
وہ آنکھ آج قبلۂ حاجات ہو گئی

اے سوز عشق تو نے مجھے کیا بنا دیا
میری ہر ایک سانس مناجات ہو گئی

اہل وطن سے دور جدائی میں یار کی
صبر آ گیا فراقؔ کرامات ہو گئی
