The federal treasurer Josh Frydenberg has hinted at one-off payments in this year's budget to help ease cost of living pressures. Mr Frydenberg has used a pre-budget speech to hail Australia’s economic recovery from the covid-19 pandemic, that's seen the jobless rate fall to four per cent. Mr Frydenberg says he's conscious of the rising cost of food and fuel on household budgets.
