The ongoing tussle within the Congress, which is facing defeat in five states including Uttar Pradesh, is not taking its name to stop. Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge has expressed disappointment over Kapil Sibal's Ghar Ki Congress statement. Kapil Sibal had raised questions about the Gandhi family leading the Congress after the defeat in five states. Kharge encouraged Sibal to contest elections from the organization.

UP Election Results 2022: उत्तर प्रदेश समेत पांच राज्यों में हार का सामना करने वाली कांग्रेस के भीतर जारी खींचतान थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है. कपिल सिब्बल के घर की कांग्रेस वाले बयान पर राज्यसभा में विपक्ष के नेता मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे निराशा जताई है. कपिल सिब्बल ने पांच राज्यों में हार के बाद गांधी परिवार के कांग्रेस को नेतृत्व करने पर सवाल उठाए थे. खड़गे ने सिब्बल को संगठन से चुनाव लड़ने के प्रोत्साहित किया. इसके साथ ही नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू समेत पांच प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्षों को भी हटाकर उनका इस्तीफा मांगने की बात बताई.
