Defence Minister Rajnath Singh made a statement in the Rajya Sabha on the 'inadvertent firing' of the unarmed Indian supersonic missile that had entered Pakistan's territory on 9 March. He said that during routine maintenance, the missile was inadvertently fired and had landed in Pakistan, and asserted that a high-level inquiry was underway in the matter.
