The Russian invasion of Ukraine has created quite a problem for William Branham’s cult of personality and leaders of the New Apostolic Reformation who have for decades declared Branham’s alleged 1933 prophecies to have “accurate details”. As the events unfold and listeners compare what these men have said about Communist Russia from the 1950s when Branham first introduced these “prophecies” of Russia of today, they are learning that Branham’s conflicting claims cannot be true. As strange as this sounds, cult pastors, evangelists, and televangelists themselves are now a threat to the integrity and survival of Branham’s cult
As a result, cult headquarters has now asked all cult members not to listen to the pastors of their churches. In a letter from Joseph Branham dated March 5, 2022, William Branham's son and current central figure of Branham's "Message" cult issued his demand. According to Joseph Branham, his father's voice is the "Word" (superseding the Bible), and cult pastors who have for decades based their sermons on repeating and/or explaining how to understand the different meanings between versions of William Branham's stage persona should now be avoided.
