The actor’s Eighties classic ‘Look Who’s Talking’ airs on Channel 5 this afternoon at 2.25pm. The film, which stars Mr Travolta and Kirstie Alley, follows an accountant who has an affair with a married client and becomes pregnant. Yet as the embryo develops, it strangely gains the ability to speak from its mother’s womb. When the career-minded single protagonist is left on her own to give birth to the talking child, she makes a new romantic connection with a cab driver. After a brief lull in popularity, 1989 smash hit Look Who’s Talking has been credited as the film that brought Mr Travolta out of the cinematic wilderness.
