The Odisha government established its first-ever Human Milk Bank on March 09. Human Milk Bank has been opened at the Pediatrics Department of the Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar. It is intended to fulfil the nutritional needs of the newborns. The newborns are deprived of their mother's milk due to so many reasons. It is the 34th Human Milk Bank of its kind in the entire country.

ओडिशा सरकार (Odisha government) ने अपना पहला Human Milk Bank खोला है। भुवनेश्वर (Bhubaneswar) में कैपिटल अस्पताल के बाल रोग विभाग में ये Human Milk Bank खोला गया है। इसका उद्देश्य नवजात शिशुओं की पोषण संबंधी जरूरतों को पूरा करना है। नवजात शिशु कई कारणों से मां के दूध (Mother Milk) से वंचित रह जाते हैं। अब इस बैंक के जरिए उन नवजात शिशुओं को पोषण मिल पाएगा। जो उनके लिए बेहद जरुरी है।
