Northeast Frontier Railway installed its first-ever smart automatic coach washing plant at Kamakhya Coach Maintenance Depot in Guwahati. The plant has multistage cleaning facility, provides an efficient and cost-effective technique for outer body cleaning.

Indian railway लगातार यात्रियों की सुविधाओं को देखते हुए खुद को अपग्रेड कर रहा है। हर दिन लाखों की संख्या में लोग ट्रेन में सफर करते हैं. ट्रेन के सफर को बेहद सुविधाजनक और सस्ता माना जाता है. देश में आज भी एक बड़ा तबका लंबे सफर के लिए ट्रेन को ही पसंद करता है. रेलवे भी अपने यात्रियों को कई तरह की नई सुविधाएं देने की कोशिश कर रही है. अब इस कड़ी में रेलवे ने गुवाहाटी में कामाख्या कोच रखरखाव डिपो (Kamakhya Coach Maintenance Depot in Guwahati) में अपना पहला smart automatic coach washing plant स्थापित किया है। इस ऑटोमेटिक कोच वाशिंग प्लांट लगाने के पीछे का मकसद ये है कि ट्रेनों में बढ़िया से बढ़िया और जल्दी सफाई दी जा सके.
