Edit for headphones, January 2021. Source of this edit is the 2006 limited edition ten cd box set "In The Studio", it is song number nine on cd ten, entitled "La Poupee Qui Fait Non". The song is a cover of a song written by French song writer and performer Michel Polnareff. Jimi and The Experience had supported French singer Johnny Halliday in October 1966, that's probably where they picked up this song. It was meant for the album "Are You Experienced", but for obvious reasons it was never officially released. Polnareff's single charted #5 in Holland and in Belgium's French speaking part, #6 in France.

The box set's label is "Reclamation", the catalogue number of cd 10 is recd1010cw; the box set is partially unofficial and limited to 1000 copies, lucky for us it's not only in the hands of the thousand lucky ones that bought it: it is spread out world widely with the help of that beautiful peer to peer program "Soulseek"...
