U.S. Stock Futures Fall

Prior to the market opening, U.S. stock futures were trading lower after the Dow Jones Industrial Index rose more than 650 points on Wednesday. Investors are on the lookout for earnings results from companies like JD.com ($JD@China), Oracle ($ORCL@US), and Ulta Beauty ($ULTA@US), and it appears that those investors are bullish on the outlooks of those companies and inflation data. At press time, the Consumer Price Index for February was forthcoming, and the U.S. Treasury plans to release a budget statement at 2 pm on Thursday. Dow futures fell 126 points while S&P 500 futures fell more than 12 points. Finally, NASDAQ futures fell nearly 60 points to close the previous session.
