MARIKINA RIVER CLEAN-UP

Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Acting Secretary Jim Sampulna and Marikina Mayor Marcelino 'Marcy' Teodoro inspect the dredging of the Marikina River, to address the problem of flooding in areas along the river. The Marikina River Restoration Project was turned over from the Task Force Build Back Better through the Department of Public Works and Highways National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) to the DPWH Unified Project Management Office - Flood Control Management Cluster at Barangay. Sta. Elena, Marikina City on March 9, 2022.
