DENR, Marikina LGU turns its dredging project over to DPWH

Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Acting Secretary Jim Sampulna, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and Marikina Mayor Marcelino Teodoro led the turn over ceremony of Marikina River Restoration Project from the Task Force Build Back Better through the Department of Public Works and Highways National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) to DPWH Unified Project management Office - Flood Control Management Cluster at Brgy. Sta. Elena, Marikina City on March 9, 2022. The dredging project is to address the issue of perennial flooding in Marikina, Pasig, Quezon City and other areas along Marikina River.
