Quad Meets On Ukraine: PM Modi Stresses On Diplomacy, Joe Biden On Russia's Aggression

On March 3, Quad leaders participated in a virtual meeting. Quad grouping of countries include the United States, Australia, India & Japan. The Quad leaders agreed that what is happening to Ukraine should not be allowed to happen in the Indo-Pacific, Fumio Kishida, Japanese Prime Minister said. This meeting comes at a time when concerns about Taiwan have been growing. The PM's office of Japan tweeted, “Unilateral changes to the status quo by force or coercion like the recent Russian aggression against Ukraine are also unacceptable in the Indo-Pacific region.” PM Modi tweeted, “Reaffirmed our shared commitment to ensuring security, safety and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific.” US President Joe Biden said the leaders met to discuss Russia's ongoing attack on Ukraine and our commitment to sovereignty and territorial integrity around the world, including in the Indo-Pacific.
