Plastic-free lobster pot created in Warrnambool as part of Victorian environmental fight in Warambool

A horrifying haul of garbage found along Victoria's South-West Coastline has shocked a group of rock-lobster fisherman into action to reduce the amount of plastic in the sea. Up to a million tonnes of abandoned fishing gear ends up in the world's oceans each year but a back-shed invention by a Warrnambool fisherman could now form part of the solution.
