UNSC meeting held on Russia-Ukraine Crisis

After four decades, an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council was held Sunday night on the Ukraine crisis. In this meeting, it was decided to convene a special session of UNGA. This will be the 11th time in the history of the UNSC when it has been decided to convene a special session of the United Nations General Assembly. However, when the voting process was adopted in this regard, once again India, China, and UAE did not participate in the voting, while Russia did not have the right of veto power in this meeting.
