Legendary singer-composer Bappi Lahiri passed away on February 15. His death came as a shock to the entire nation as Bappi da was loved by everyone. Bappi Lahiri's family held a prayer meeting in his remembrance today, February 23, in Juhu, Mumbai. The late music composer's son, Bappa, and daughter Reema Lahiri were seen arriving at the prayer meet.Bappi Lahiri's family issues an official statement on February 20 about the prayer meeting in remembrance of the legendary singer and music composer. Today, Bappi Lahiri's wife Chitrani, daughter Reema and son Bappa Lahiri were clicked as they arrived for the prayer meet at the venue.Bappi Lahiri breathed his last at around 11.45 pm on February 15. He is survived by two children - a son, Bappa Lahiri, and a daughter, Rema Lahiri. Bappi da had developed a chest infection and was treated for the same earlier this year. He was discharged from the hospital on February 15. However, his condition worsened and was brought back to the hospital. However, he breathed his last at around 11.45 pm. Bappi Lahiri was suffering from OSA- Obstructive Sleep Apnea and recurrent chest infection.
