The video features the said bird, named Cairo, repeatedly asking one of his owners to keep quiet and go to bed.
"This is Cairo, our 21-year-old African Grey parrot," the filmer, Tammy Howlett wrote. "Here, you can watch him calling out Hailey, first commanding her to be quiet and then telling her to go to bed. Later, when she is making too much noise, he tells her to 'shh,' 'zip it up,' and 'smarten up.'"
